Christina Hendricks

Christina Hendricks was an American actress who is best known for her role as Joan Holloway. She played the character in seven seasons of AMC's time-travel comedy Mad Men from 2007-2015. Along with receiving critical reviews, her role on the show garnered six Emmy Award nominations for the best supporting actors category. In her career till now which spans over twenty years, she's also gained recognition for her roles in the legal drama Kevin Hill comedy series Another Period crime drama series Tin Star and comedy-crime series Good Girls. Films consist of Drive Ginger & Rosa Lost River Neon Demon Strangers - Prey at Night Egg & American Woman. The voice of her character has been featured in animated films such as Toy Story 4, Scoob! and From Up on Poppy Hill. She began as a fashion model and worked in that field for many years prior to making her television debut with Undressed. Her first big role was in the comedy drama Beggars and Choosers following which she also received appreciation for her part in the popular show Firefly. Esquire magazine ranked her as the best-looking female on the planet in America in 2010 and declared one of the sexiest women in the world.
